The father of Pat Liming and Sandra Liming passed away this week. Pat was in the class of '69 and Sandra was in '68. EARL GASTON LIMING, 82, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS. He was born March 10, 1926 to the late John Ruskin Liming and Lillian Scott Liming. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He was a glazier in the glass business. He was a member of Allied Painters and Decorators Union. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and he served on the USS Duluth as a gunner. Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob McKee officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Liming) Jerden (KHS ’68),and Patricia (Liming) Clemmer (KHS’69), both of Brandon, MS; three sisters, Ruby Tapp of Atlanta, GA, Twila Hanisco of Memphis, TN, and Annette Street of Walnut; one brother, Hugh Liming of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Christie Jerden Samuelson of O'Fallon, MO, and Matthew Clemmer of Brandon, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verniece Graves Liming; his parents; and two brothers, Raymond Liming and Gatha Liming. Visitation was December 10 at Ripley Funeral Home.
