I am the current principal at Kingsbury. I am trying to give the old school back some of its tradition. I want to have banners made to display in the gym of all the championships won in the past. I got some from the old annuals but a lot of sports were not listed. I am also looking to display banners of distinquished athletes that have graduated from Kingsbury. I have a few names of some but I am looking for others. I am looking for those that perhaps went on to star in college or professional also. If you have names/sport/position/college/year or championships won/when/sport, please email them to me at hookera@mcsk12.net
I have Allie Prescott, Randy Gay, Mark May, Mike Butler, Ray Depreist, David Haththingy, Charlie Lea, Terry Padget, Marcus Bell, and Clarence Swearengen. I am sure that there are others in baseball, basketball, tennis, track, and football that I have missed. Help me restore some of the tradition to the old school.
thanx alex hooker

Dear Mr. Hooker, I have no news of anything you requested, I just wanted you to know what you are doing is a good thing especially for the families of the "Stars from Kingsbury". The dream lives on in the halls of our great school. Thank you

Hi Mr. Hooker, I graduated as a Junior in 1980, Randy Gay was my gym teacher. I remember John Rumsey as a football star. Also Ricky Williams, it's been a LONG time. Good Luck Brent Clenney

I believe that is David Hathaway, not Haththingy and I ran track with him in 1958-60 but he went on to play in the NFL. I graduated from MSU and joined the Air Force in 1964 and am retired as a Major. I still work with explosives and am working in Ohio supervising the demolition of an old Army Ammunition Plant.
